Welcome to Quevedo Winery!
As a proud family-owned business, we have been crafting exceptional Port Wine for five generations. Our story took a significant turn in 1993 when Portugal joined the EU, allowing us to bottle our wines under our own brand. This milestone makes us one of the youngest Port Wine Houses in the Douro region, and we are excited to share our passion for wine with you.
In the Douro Valley, we take pride in our hospitality. Whether you visit our vineyards in São João da Pesqueira or our Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, you will be greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. We love to share our knowledge of winemaking and the unique characteristics of our wines.

Write a reviewWe drove out to Quevedo in the Duro Valley because we enjoyed going to tastings at their shop in Gaia! Not only do they have amazing ports , they also make one of my favorite Gins. We had an amazing tour that let us see in action the whole process of port wine and port making, and ended it with a memorable tasting from the barrels! The tasting rooms are cozy and do not disappoint with breathtaking views of the Valley. 10/10 would recommend stoping at their shop in the Duro or in Gaia. And though you go to Portugal to enjoy Port wine, don’t skip out on the Gin!

We have had the most amazing tour with Marco today! Despite turning up without any prior reservation, he took us around the winery, explaining the whole production process in much detail and adding many interesting facts. His friendliness and enthusiasm made our day! Highly recommended!!!

What a wonderful family run business. Had a two hour tour from a very friendly and enthusiastic member of staff. Tried 4 different ports. We ended up bringing home 4 lovely ports too. Highly recommended if you are in the area!
