Telaya Winery: result of hard work
This homey winery in Idaho, United States, is the product of family and hard work. Earl and Carrie Sullivan, the owners and winemakers of Telaya, can attest to the ability of a family to make its own space in the world. In fact, it was the decision to create a shared space based on the foundations of familial love, support, and also passion for wine, that led to the birth of Telaya Wino Co.’s first blend in 2008.
A dream came true
Both Earl and Carrie were on independent career paths before that –– Earl, traveling internationally as the COO of a pharmaceutical company and Carrie practicing as a small animal and exotic veterinarian while raising their two boys. Then in Cabo San Lucas they decided to make a place where their love of family and travel could merge, considering all the ways how wine could make this merge a reality.
Do not miss a tasting at this beautiful winery
What started with 50 cases of carefully conceived wines, with fruits initially outsourced from Washington is now a delicious testament to perseverance, integrity and accountability –– values so important to the Sullivans and Telaya. Following the establishment of a deep-rooted relationship with Idaho vineyards, they pulled fruits from Idaho for the very first time in 2012. Now, the varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc and Chardonnay produce a range of hand-crafted red, white, rosé and dessert wines.
Telaya Winery is a journey where along the way, you will find the perfect balance of a glass of exceptional wine, a beautiful view, and great company
