Tenuta Carlini, Producers of Quality Wines of the Pesaresi Hills Region
Passionate Learner, Devoted Winemaker, Tenuta Carlini Winery
The Carlini winery began in the late 1980s, when Andrea Carlini, then a student eager in learning more about viticulture, chose to use an old vineyard, which he had inherited for some time, for experimental study and research. He gained direct experience in farm work and the different processes involved in winemaking. The passionate Carlini devoted his knowledge and skills to creating a winery that produced wines made out of clones of Sangiovese, Pinot Nero, and Albanella grapes.
Tenuta Carlini, Located in Regional Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo
The Carlini winery is located in the San Bartolo Natural Park, in the far north of the Marche region, and has been designated as a "sub-zone" of the Doc Colli Pesaresi by the Ministerial Decree of October 13, 2011. It is thus a qualified representation of Italian niche production, thanks to a terrain that is particularly good for the development of Sangiovese and Pinot Nero grapes, as well as the coveted native white grape variety known as "Albanella" in the area.
Natural Ampitheatre of Tenuta Carlini
The Natural Amphitheater of Tenuta Carlini brings culture, poetry, music, and wine together in the arms of San Bartolo Park, under the stars in the summer. For a long time, Tenuta Carlini has been a popular site for a broad audience: Artists, writers, sculptors, athletes, musicians, walkers, cyclists, school groups, and, of course, wine enthusiasts. Tenuta Carlini makes its spaces available and provides a variety of options for spending enjoyable and memorable moments.
