A Premier Winery in Piedmont's Cortese Region
Magda Pedrini: A Winery with Exceptional Terroir
Located in Pratolungo, a charming village in the heart of the Cortese and Gavi D.O.C.G. regions, Magda Pedrini Winery benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for vine cultivation. Established in 2006, the winery has revitalized historical vineyards by breaking through rocky layers to cultivate exclusively Cortese grapes. The wines produced here are celebrated for their floral notes and vibrant fruit flavors, reflecting the rich heritage of the land.
Originally known as Ca ‘de Meo, this estate was once part of the royal Genoese families' vineyards.
Commitment to Sustainability
Spanning 12 hectares, the vineyards at Magda Pedrini have been transitioning to organic farming since 2017. The winery employs modern techniques to enhance production while prioritizing sustainability. Utilizing natural water resources and renewable energy, the team handpicks grapes, carefully selecting the finest bunches to transport in 20-kilogram wooden boxes. With minimal sulfite usage, the wines retain their authentic aromas and aging potential.
