Take a step back in time to the Middle Ages

A Multi-Faceted Winery

Tenute Aliani is a multi-faceted wine producer, in fact the main activity is around the castle of Ramazzano. This castle, built in the 12th century, is a vestige of the past and today retains its walls, the inner courtyard and a tower. The town takes its name from the castle, Ramazzano located in the heart of Umbria hidden between the typical hills of the region, this charming town is waiting for you. In line with the rooms offered at the castle and the possibility of organizing large events such as weddings, Tenute Aliani produces wine.

Tenuta Aliani is Well Equipped

The wines are produced exclusively from native grapes, i.e. from the Umbrian region without having been transformed with other varieties. In addition to the quality of the grape variety, Tenute Aliani relies on innovation to produce a unique wine, thanks to high-tech production machinery. They produce two white wines and two red wines, each wine has a history and a meaning, linked to the castle, for example a tribute to the Pope of Rerum Novarum whose nephew occupied the castle in the 13th century. All the wines are under appellations d’origine contrôlée such as Leone Xiii, Castrum Ramacani or Silentium. The red wines are fruity with surprising notes of spices, the whites are fruity with mineral aromas and the rosés are fresh and intense. All wines are of high quality and to be enjoyed in a magnificent setting full of history.
