Vinaria Din Vale, a Winery in a UNESCO Natural Reserve
Vinaria Din Vale Winery is located in the lovely UNESCO protected natural heritage site of Lower Prut Natural Reserve. This reserve is a real paradise of birds, fish, and plants. The winery is placed next to the unique ecosystem of Lake Beleu, which is a relict of the Danube and serves as a great interest for scientific, cultural, and aesthetic value. Vinaria Din Vale is a family-run winery, with over 1000 ha of vineyards and state of the art equipment. Their wine cellar has over 300 French oak barrels for the maturation of fine wines.
Vladimir Davidescu established Vinaria Din Vale Winery and learned winemaking from his father. His children, Elena and Andrian, have taken over the winery and extended it beyond the boundaries of Moldova.

Vinaria Din Vale Winery has been operating for more than 20 years and features a large in-house team of hard-working locals. Storks are the nation’s symbol and an essential part of winemaking history. They used to pick up grapes for the injured soldiers, and their wines reflect the feelings of history in each bottle.
Grape Varieties at the Winery
The main types of grapes grown in their vineyards include Feteasca Neagra, Feteasca Alba, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. The best grapes go into the production of their world-class red, white, and rosé wines. The winery believes in their family, traditions, and passion for winemaking that is passed down from one generation to the next, and they keep producing unique wines.
