We passed by here at the end of our hike. Despite it being a public holiday, we were given a very friendly welcome and were able to buy some well-chilled wine, which we tried straight away in the Ürziger Gewürzgarten. The Ürziger Würzgarten made from red slate tastes perfect in the Ürziger Würzgarten!

We were there from September 9th. - 15.09. Guests in the historic monastery courtyard. The rooms are simply furnished but clean. There is no television and we didn't miss it. Claudia and Bernd are extremely attentive, friendly and cheerful hosts. The breakfast was very rich and super tasty. During this time we learned a lot about wine and the Moselle region. The wine tasting with Bernd and Max, the young winemaker, was a great and interesting experience. With Claudia we visited our sponsored vines together; they were actually the reason for our visit to Ürzig. She made this visit a small event. We would like to thank everyone for a wonderful week, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

A wine tasting in the vineyard, where the grapes grow, couldn't be closer or better. After an exciting hike through the insect art trail in Bernkastel-Wehlen, Claudia from the Benedict Loosen Erben winery surprised us behind a bend in the path with her wine bee: With her mobile wine bar in a Piaggio Ape, she gave us a refreshing and educational break with delicious wines in the middle of the vineyard. For us it was an absolutely successful surprise! It definitely won't be the last time... See you!
