Postkellerei Winery: on the beautiful Moselle

The Postkellerei Winery is a place where creativity meets traditions. Under the clear sky, surrounded scenic countryside, the winery is located in the Burg region of Germany. Stretched over three resplendent towns of Moselle, namely Burg, Reil, and Enkirch, the vineyards enjoy a perfect climate throughout the year.

Taste some sophistaicated white and red wines

In the mid of the 20th-century, Heinz Floter Senior discovered grape farming during his journey to Moselle when he was appointed to work in the Moselle vineyards. Later, he learnt all the tactics of vine cultivation and winemaking, which he passed onto his son, Heinz Junior. Remaining faithful to the family’s winemaking business, Heinz handles all the operations of Postkellerei. Today, the winery building is standing on 1.5 hectares of land, where Heinz uses conventional and modern wine production methods to deliver sophisticated red, white, dessert, and sparkling wines.

Experience the king of white varieties: Riesling

A rare love and commitment for the Moselle territory can be seen in the vineyards. Here, more than 40 years old grape plants are used to produce wines. Riesling is the flagship grape of the winery, and it is accompanied by other fruity vines, including Rivaner, Weissburgunder, and Dornfelder. The wines are aged and refined in stainless steel tanks and 50-years old wooden barrels, kept in the flora cellar under controlled-temperature conditions.

The winery also consists of a well-equipped art hotel, known as Zur Post, where you can reside during your visit to Postkellerei.

Besides, there is an estate-owned restaurant with a unique ambience, where guests can challenge their taste buds with regional and fresh products
