Since 2011, the current owner has embraced organic viticulture, promoting beneficial insects to manage pests naturally. They follow a circular economy approach, avoiding synthetic fertilizers and instead enriching the soil with horse manure and straw to maintain its health and vitality.

We had the pleasure of experiencing a wagon ride at this wonderful winery and it was simply amazing! The wines were really delicious – every sip was a pleasure and we were thrilled. We would particularly like to emphasize the warm nature of the owner, who impressed us not only with his friendliness, but also with his extensive knowledge of the region. We also bought a few bottles which we will happily enjoy. We would be happy to come back and can highly recommend the covered wagon ride! Thank you for a wonderful day! 🍷✨

Strausswirtschaft Weckbecker, tables in the beautiful garden. Open when the weather is nice, Wed - Fri from 5 p.m., Sat and Sun from 3 p.m. Small salads and various cheeses to accompany wine. Delicious.

It was a great day with great service and great drinks. You made my hen party unforgettable. A big thank you goes to Mayor Josef, who drove us through the beautiful vineyards on his covered wagon and imparted knowledge. Also to Rolf, who patiently captured the beautiful moments on camera. A big thank you also to the cover band "Homerun", who created a great atmosphere and responded to all of our strange requests. To little Artur, who rocked the dance floor with us. Dario... not Marvin 😃, who was also there... And Natalie, who looked after us so well and entertained us so much in the "zur Burg Eltz" hotel.
