More than 275 Years of History

The Weingut Weckbecker is perfectly located in the exquisite Terrassenmosel in Moselkern. The family has been growing wine in Moselkern since 1728. With over 275 years of tradition, They offer high-class wines that are made with a lot of heart and mind. Weingut Weckbecker has also been a certified organic wine producer since 2011.

They currently offer red, white, sparkling, and rose wines that are blended to their perfection.

Organic Winery With a Long History

They enthusiastically grow exquisite wines on 4 hectares of steep slopes between Cochem and Koblenz. All the tasks in vineyards are done manually. Since 2011, the current owner has also dedicated itself to organic viticulture with joy and success. Promoting beneficial insects to keep pests in check. They also rely on the principle of the circular economy and do not use fertilizers at all. The main goal is to always keep healthy and well-supplied soil using horse manure and straw.

Love of Grape Varietals

Though Mosel is mostly known for Reisling, Weingut Weckbecker is open and confident to produce other varieties with utmost quality. The special combination of soil, sun, temperature management helps them produce amazing Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Cabernet Dorsa, and Cal 6-04. Cal 6-04 is the newest addition in the vineyard, it is the vinified German-French friendship – a cross between the local Riesling and the French Sauvignon grape. They are very excited to release these new wines in 2021.
