In the picturesque valley of Beri, nestled in the heart of old Montenegro, the Vukicevic family has been crafting exceptional wines since ancient times. This region, known for its rich viticultural history, provides the perfect backdrop for their passion for winemaking. The family’s journey began as a hobby, blossoming into a deep commitment to producing wines that reflect the finest grapes and a profound love for the craft.

Expert Winemakers Since 1989

Winery Vukicevic was established in 1989, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Montenegrin winemaking. With 18,000 vines cultivated across 4 hectares, the winery focuses on high-quality grape varieties. The tradition of crafting wine from their own vineyards is upheld by two brothers, symbolized by the two wolves that represent their brand. The winery features a production hall, a wine aging area, and a tasting room where visitors can enjoy not only wine and brandy but also local traditional specialties.

Award-Winning Wines

Renowned for its diverse range of exquisite wines, Winery Vukicevic has garnered numerous accolades both locally and internationally. Their wines have received prestigious awards, including recognitions at the International Wine Challenge - AWC Vienna 2021 and the Paris Wine Cup 2020. These honors reflect the winery's commitment to quality and the unique characteristics of the Skadar Lake region.

During our visit to Montenegro, we visited a family winery. We highly recommend it. Very nice hosts, Ina showed us around and talked about the vineyard, we looked at every corner of the place. Tasting of local products (ham, cheese, olives, olive oil, bread, vegetables from the garden). And! We received 4 seedlings of the Žižula plant (common juniper). We will plant in Poland. The wines are top notch. We recommend.

I was a bit sceptical with all the overly positive reviews.. could this place really be that good? Let me tell you, it DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations!! This will be one of the highlights of your trip for sure! My girlfriend and I took a cab from Podgorica, which costs around €11. Filip took the time to explain the whole concept and history of their family vineyard and the process of producing their wines. Their white Malvazija is one of the best white wines we have ever tasted together with their red Vranac Barrique. Also their Rakija is on another level and doesn’t have that chemical after taste which I experienced in multiple restaurants. While tasting the wines, local Montenegrin snacks were served and he even drove us back to Podgorica! We were sad that we fly back only with hand luggage, otherwise we would have definitely brought a few bottles back home. Highly recommend!
