Venikos

The company Venikos – wine, gastronomy, well-being, was founded in order to introduce the rich wine and culinary heritage of the Peloponnese to the visitors of the region. Starting from the vineyards of Nemea and the famous indigenous grape variety Agiorgitiko we created a network of regions that are linked to each other by the production of fine wine and food and share a common vision of high-quality gastronomy tourism. We offer 3 different ways to discover the unique flavours and aromas of our region.

Wine & Gastronomy Tours

Designed for wine and food lovers as well as wine professionals. We focus on the modern Greek wines, the indigenous grape varieties and the upcoming boutique wineries. We combine our tours with visits at organic balsamic and olive oil producers, archaeological sites and introductions to the rich mythology of the region. Our programs are always adjusted to the expertise of our guests and combined to authentic gastronomical experiences.

Wine tastings

We offer a series of wine tastings and wine seminars for wine lovers and wine professionals. Held at our beautiful tasting room in Nemea, guided by an oenologist and adjusted to the wishes and expertise of our guests. From introductions to the indigenous grape variety Agiorgitiko including selected wines from over 30 wineries of the region to deep insights to the modern wines of Greece with high quality wines from all the wine regions of the country.

We always combine wine with gastronomy and have the possibility to offer picnics, dinners or rich barbeques after the tastings in a private atmosphere.

Wine travels

Discover on a roundtrip the different wine regions of Greece and the upcoming boutique wineries. From Attica to the Peloponnese but also to other wine regions we offer guided travels that combine excellent wines, fine gastronomy, the famous Greek hospitality with visits at world heritage sites and the beautiful landscapes of Greece. Meet with wine makers, food producers, local chefs and experience the different facets and culture of the country. From weekend getaway trips up to 10 days travels always guided by an expert with in depth knowledge for an unique experience.
