You will then explore the site on your own and you can even try your own sprint at the ancient stadium, just like the athletes did centuries ago. Fantastic wine tour
Venikos is the leading wine tour provider in the region. They have great knowledge and passion and are connected with all the wineries of the Nemean Winemakers Association. The home-style cooked lunch is a highlight of every wine tour and we look forward to do another tour with them.

Recently, in Spring of 2026, one of my groups visited Greece. We contacted Venikos and hired them as our local tour Guides. They offered a turnkey solution for the small group of 6 guests and organized 5 full days of excursions, wine-tastings, dinners and cultural destinations. It included an adaptation of Greek Mythology, including Hercules' Labors/tasks, and a UNESCO World Heritage Sight visit. The group spent time cooking authentic Greek dishes together and enjoyed them with a selection of various wines from the region. All destinations were with and at local producers of excellent products, i.e. organic honey, olive oils, balsamic wine vinegars, and wines from the area of Nemea, Ouzo, and more... I highly recommend Venikos to anyone interested in Greek Culture, Sights and Culinary Experiences. Well done Venikos!
