Our day in "Weinviertel"  

First: Traditional winery in an important wine-growing community where wine has been produced since the 14th century.

Wine tasting and winery tour

We will start our day with the most important vaeriety for Austria. Grüner Veltliner wich we will taste directly in the vineyard were it grows. The vines, some of which are over 60 years old, are farmed organically - using natural vineyard planting, alternative pest control or even sustainable vineyard grazing with the help of sheep. We get a glimpse backstage and will taste great wines. 

Second: Modern winery in a romantic wine village

Exclusive, commented wine tasting with high-class winefarmer´s lunch

In the winery's rustic tasting room, you will enjoy a representative cross-section of the current assortment, which also includes special treasures of mature vintages. This is accompanied by a classy winegrower's lunch with a focus on seasonal produce and many homemade delicacies. Also available as a purely vegetarian option.

Third: Tradition meets modern

Wine tasting and cellar visit.

The winery which is under young management is one of the last in the world that still processes the entire production today with the tree press from 1820. Since 2021, the winery bears the "Sustainable Austria"-certified seal of quality for sustainably produced wines. We are in for a great tasting of their best French style wines in which his French wife is not entirely uninvolved.

This tour will start at 10:00 a.m.

This tour will approximately last from 10 a.m. - 18:30 p.m.
Comfortable shoes are recommended

This Tour will take us to "Weinviertel" north of Vienna, to three wineries.

Tastings:

Taste more than 20 wines.

All the tastings and drinks are included in the tour fee.

Will be done by our partner and has to be paid directly (approx. € 75,-/person)
