Wine Tasting in The Great Hill (largest DOC of Romania)

Trekking through the beautiful and scenic Buzău mountains, looking for the legendary stone dwellings of Bozioru that date back to Medieval Times, where monks and hermits lived in complete seclusion, prayer and meditation (4h, moderate effort).

We stop for lunch at a scenic, traditional restaurant in the area, Ferma Dacilor, that celebrates the history and traditions of the ancestors or Romanian people.

Our second visit is at Domeniul Aristiței, a boutique winery, where we will visit the winery and learn about their philosophy while tasting 5 wines.

This was simply the best wine tasting tour ever. Ovidiu was a fantastic guide and very knowledgableable regarding the selected wines. Highly recommended - it does not get any better than this. I would like to give this more than 5 stars if this was possible.
