We’re here to show you a different side of Bordeaux — fresh, natural, relaxed, and full of energy. No stiff wine talk, no old-school clichés: just honest wines, real stories, and a behind-the-scenes look at how we work.
At Château Shuette, we make low-intervention wines with a simple idea in mind: let the grapes, the place, and the vintage speak for themselves. During the visit, you’ll meet our team, discover our approach to natural winemaking, and get a closer look at what makes modern Bordeaux so exciting today.
What You’ll Experience
You’ll start with a walk through our organic vineyards, where we’ll talk about regenerative farming, biodiversity, and the terroir of Entre-Deux-Mers in a simple and approachable way.
Then we’ll take you behind the scenes to the winery, including our experimental fermentation station, where you’ll discover some of the more playful and unexpected things we’re working on.
The experience finishes with a guided tasting of our natural wines from sparkling Pet Nat to orange wines and fresh modern Bordeaux reds. You’ll also get to try our signature garden infusions, made with ingredients from the farm.
Come curious, taste something different, and leave with a completely new idea of what Bordeaux wine can be.

Tasting and visiting the Shuette vineyard was a very interesting and unique activity that enhanced our vacation in Bordeaux. If you want to get away from traditional tours and taste wine that truly reflects the terroir, this is the place to visit! Ian and Marina will treat you to amazing natural wines and share their sustainable practices that will leave lasting memories. I can't recommend Château Shuette enough! We had a fantastic day here, and it was all thanks to our wonderful hosts, Ian and Marina. They gave us an excellent tour of the vineyard, taking the time to explain everything they do with such passion and detail. Their dedication to producing natural wine really shines through, and it was an absolute delight to taste the results. As someone new to natural wine, I found it incredibly impressive. The facilities were top-notch, and the entire experience was both educational and enjoyable. If you're looking for an exceptional natural wine tasting experience, Château Shuette is the place to go!

Everything was perfect we had a wonderful experience at Château Shuette. Ian was an incredible host, who made you feel home from the first second. We were allowed to try everything, their food, their wines (that tasted very good and where everyone will find a favourite) and the tractor 🚜 it was honestly an unforgettable time, thank you!
