Join us for a relaxing country picnic in our picturesque olive grove located within the Nature Reserve! This experience is all about savoring delicious food, fine wine, and the tranquility of nature.

Your adventure begins at the historic Mazzarosa Winery, where our friendly team will greet you and provide a picnic basket filled with everything you need. Inside, you'll find wine glasses, placemats, corkscrews, a selection of local delicacies, seasonal fruit, and a bottle of wine for two. Choose from our exquisite Trebbiano, Pecorino, Cerasuolo, or Montepulciano wines.

Once you have your basket, it's a short stroll to our olive groves, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. If you're interested, you can also take a guided tour of our historic winery. Learn about our winemaking processes, visit our cooperage, and see one of the largest barrels in Europe, holding an impressive 1,000 hectoliters!

The winery tour is included in your picnic experience. If you wish to taste more of our wines, you can request a tasting of three additional labels for just €15 per person, subject to availability. Enjoy a memorable day filled with good food, great wine, and the beauty of nature!

The 4x4 tour of the estate's vineyards, accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide, was very interesting. No less interesting is the visit to the production cellars and the evocative equipment of the past, which is still partly preserved. The tasting of the main wines produced is very well organised and is accompanied by perfectly paired cold cuts, cheeses (and cantucci).

We booked a Historical Wine Cellar Tour and Tasting through GetYourGuide. It was an extraordinary experience with the winemaker Marco. He explained everything and answered our questions. The wines were delicious and it was really fun to taste the different nuances. To match, there was regional food such as salami and cheese. The whole tour followed by the tasting was a highlight of our vacation in Abruzzo. Thank you for that!

It was fantastic to visit the winery and learn its history. Sara speaks very interestingly and will answer all your questions. Huge wine barrels. The biggest barrel in Europe. Tasting 6 different wines with different salami, cheese and honey biscuits gives a variety of flavors. I highly recommend it if you are nearby.

We participated in a sunset aperitif, a very interesting event, both for the setting under the olive trees and for the availability of the staff. The excellent quality wines (I was particularly impressed by the sparkling wine) and the choice of products on the plates were also appreciated. Only suggestion: try adding some background music to enjoy the experience even better. We will definitely come back for other occasions!

On Saturday 15th June I took part with a friend in the "Aperitif at sunset" event. It was a truly divine experience! Excellent wine accompanied by a more than abundant and tasty aperitif (cold cuts, cheeses, olives, bread and homemade oil). All immersed in such a suggestive and relaxing place! Ideal to unwind after a week of work. Friendliness and kindness also from those who welcomed us at the winery. If there are other events like this, perhaps even accompanied by music, we will not miss it! The only advice I can give is to light up the parking area (it is located on the opposite side of the basement and you have to cross the national road). When we left, shortly after 10 pm, after crossing the street and entering the parking lot, we had to use the flashlights on our mobile phone to give us light. Apart from this aspect on which I wanted to "shed light", everything was perfect!

We spent almost two hours here with a great tour and tasting, all in English. What amazing wines! We also enjoyed learning about the winery and region from our expert guide. I only wish we could have bought more wine to take home- but no checked luggage!
