Sensationally good food if you order Georgian specialties that you don't find everywhere else... chicken with blackberry or garlic sauce, pork belly with peach. Hats off, big compliment! The wines were excellent, for me the reds were simply to bathe in. We were here without staying overnight, just to taste the food.

Divine food. We had mushrooms with artichokes and chkmeruli. Fresh, crispy bread was served with aromatic Kakheti butter. The chkmeruli chicken was juicy and tender, and the creamy sauce was spicy and rich. And all this food took place in a beautiful garden, which seemed to make the dishes even more delicious.

Called in for a late lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The cellar door was colourful and homely, with lots of warm touches. We ordered Qvevri to drink (delicious) and khachapuri, a spiced pumpkin and guda dip, mixed mushrooms with artichoke and wild garlic, roast potatoes, and the shkmeruli to eat. Every single dish was so thoughtfully executed and absolutely packed with flavour. The mushrooms were delightfully nutty and buttery. The chicken in the shkmeruli was so moist, and the skin maintained its crisp despite the slow cooking in garlic sauce. All in all, a wonderful lunch in a wonderful location with a beautiful country outlook. I would highly recommend

The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet oasis, away from the busy road and surrounded by beautiful vineyards. The wine is also fantastic and is produced in the same building. I would highly recommend a wine tasting with the owner.

We went for the wine but what we were most surprised about was the food. Top-notch kitchen, every dish was delicious. Georgian-based but none of the classical dishes. I suppose modern-Georgian. The wine, of course, also very good. The wine tasting was carried out by the estate’s manager, who offered precise explanations about the grapes’ origins, etc.
