Fantastic visit to Cal Vila!! Carles welcomed us with open arms and from start to finish everything was 10. The visit to the vineyard, the cava, the tasting of products from kilometer zero with a good view of the Penedès and, how could it not be, on the other hand his magnificent cava. I look forward to coming back!!

Another tasting like before. You start in the vineyard where you will be explained the whole ecological process and then the traditional process of aging the cava in the bottle, including tasting the different cavas. Highly recommended!! Bonus: beautiful view where you can taste the cavas.

Best vineyard tour we’ve ever had (and we’ve done a fair few in Spain, Portugal and France). Carles is so good at explaining everything from vine to bottle - and why they choose the sustainable/traditional way at every step. Lovely to see a small family business choosing to do things responsibly rather than just what will make them more money in the short term. There were 11 of us including three kids and a coeliac (!) - and yet they were so good - lovely food for everyone made by Carles’ mum, including specially designed snacks for the kids. And LOVELY cava and olive oil tasting with heartfelt explanation of the culture and history behind what they do. Thanks!! The highlight of our week in the area!

We really enjoyed the experience. Carles is passionate about his work as a page and winemaker and he shows this when he explains how the vineyards are managed, the difficulties of working in the fields and how the Cava is made. The Cavas are very good and the cheese tastes excellent. Highly recommended.
