Guided wine tasting at Weingut Mönchhof
The guided wine-tasting at Mönchhof is the ideal opportunity to get a feel for the different terroirs the Mosel has to offer. Our prized and legendary vineyards in the Ürziger Würzgarten, Erdener Treppchen and Erdener Prälat are right next to each other yet they are geologically and climatically different. A difference you can taste in every wine.
In the warmer months tastings can take place in our beautiful Mediterranean garden, in case of bad weather we can resort to our large tasting room. The tasting can include up to 8 wines depending on the visitors liking. Parents are free to bring their children and it is not necessary to sign them up for the tasting.

Superb Experience
We had a wonderful day at Mönchhof! Our wine tasting host, Paul, was not only knowledgeable about the vineyard’s history and the wine tasting notes, but was also friendly and sociable. He was able to guide us through the wine tasting in English which was greatly appreciated. The wine itself was so delicious that we bought several bottles.
