The passion for vinegrowing has continuity in a reinvented urban space that recovers a lost historical tradition of making wines in the center of Logroño. The visit begins by locating the setting of the vineyards, the Sierra de Yerga in Rioja Oriental, as well as a review of the past and present of the traditional wine culture. We will discover centenary plots and how these vineyards are worked through a sustainable and respectful viticulture. We will then take a tour of the winemaking and aging facilities of the urban winery, focusing on the particularities of artisan work, aging in clay amphorae, foudres or barrels. We will also see how we carry out the manual work of labeling and sealing bottles that is typical of small production wines. We will finish with a tasting of four wines accompanied by our own organic olive oil with bread from a wood-fired oven. An emotional visit to enjoy the culture of wine, with the charm of the small and artesanal.
