Excellent wine and very friendly all the people we came across in the winery. Nothing was a problem. The winery's distinctive name caught my eye in the Burgendland card brochure, and when I spotted it again at the crossroads in Oggau at the start of the second day of our three-day bike tour around Lake Neusiedl with the kids, I went to check if they were open and if it would be possible to taste some of the wines. And I hoped that someone there would speak at least some English, as my German is barely enough to provide the basic necessities of life :-) In the shop we were welcomed by Mrs. Barbara, with great English.. And although an unexpected request for a tasting made her busy schedule a bit complicated (people usually book tastings in advance), she was extremely nice to us, gave us some of her time and spontaneously introduced us to a whole range of great wines and even offered grape juice for my little daughter. The Spätlese Chardonnay was so irresistible that I bought 1 bottle, even though I knew I would be carrying it another 100km in my bike panniers :-) Thank you for a great experience of winemaking and hospitality.

A fine rosé, refreshing grapefruit juice, carefully cuveted. Sounds refreshingly crazy? He is too, our Madini. A wine cocktail for all occasions that is uncomplicated fun - whether as a cocktail with sparkling wine, gin, vodka, sprayed or neat.💌 It's all true, I've tried it and I'm already a fan. I'll even visit them.
