A great place! Giorgio was so kind to give us a short tour and overview of his wines and wine-making, than we enjoyed a tasting together with very delicious Georgian food and we enjoyed a nice conversation. Thank you once again for your hospitality!

Everything was very nice, the owner told us about the wine, conducted a tasting of three types of wine with cheese, bread and meat and talked a lot. I liked it so much that I bought several bottles of wine to take with me. If you have a little time while traveling and want to sit at home on a cozy veranda with a glass of wine and bread, write to the owner and come by, you will like it.

This winery is located about a 15-minute walk from the Samtablo women's monastery in Mtskheta, St. Nino. The owner, Gio, is a young and lively young man. They make artful wines from a variety of grape varieties gathered from vineyards across Georgia, including Kakheti, Imereti and Lechukumi. There are wines made from Tsolikouli grapes from the West, finished in amber using Eastern methods, and reds made from Cabernet Sauvignon that date back to Soviet times. The meal, which was accompanied by a tasting of three wines, was homemade by my mother and everything from the cucumber and beetroot appetizers to the grilled pork for the main course, along with condiments like Kemali sauce and adjika, was all delicious. I highly recommend tasting this delicious Georgian home-cooked dish to hear more about Gio's stories. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to reserve early. The view of the Jvari Monastery from the terrace, where we enjoyed wine and food, was also wonderful. Georgia1001
