For those who want to have a unique eno-gastronomic experience and relish the luscious wines of the Monferrato region, may plan a few days trip to the Castello di Grillano winery. Francesco himself will guide you through the tour of wine tasting. He will serve the guests with the five most tasty wines from the assortment. The wines are usually paired with breadsticks, salami, Roccaverano dop cheese with “cugnà” mustard, and Grana Padano with chestnut honey.
The journey also includes a guided visit to the vineyards and cellar, accompanied by the owner. You will get a chance to visit the panoramic terrace overlooking the lush vineyards and the valley. Francesco, the owner, will explain the principles of organic production and whole wine production process from vineyards to the cellar and finally to the table.
