Lisboa Wine Tasting / Vinhos de Lisboa Wine Festival is one of the wine festivals that anchors the Lisbon calendar, drawing both local visitors and international wine travellers each year. It is held at Lisbon in Portugal, in the heart of one of Portugal's most distinctive wine areas. It has been running since 2010, with a long unbroken local tradition behind it.

The Vinhos de Lisboa Wine Festival presents the full diversity of the Lisbon wine region — the nine DOC sub-zones from Bucelas Arinto whites to Colares Ramisco reds, plus the broader Lisboa Vinho Regional zone. Programme includes producer-led tastings (typically 60-80 producers), masterclasses on individual sub-zones (especially the rare Colares vines on the Atlantic coast that survived phylloxera in deep coastal sands), guided cellar visits to estates within an hour of Lisbon (Quinta de Sant'Ana, Quinta de Chocapalha, Quinta da Romeira at Bucelas, AdegaMãe, José Maria da Fonseca's Setúbal lodge), and pairings with Lisbon's traditional petiscos. The event is run from a venue in Lisbon's historic centre. Wine trade fairs are the most efficient way to taste a broad cross-section of producers in a short time. Attendees can expect organised tasting halls grouped by appellation, masterclass programmes with guest speakers, sommelier-led sessions on individual grape varieties, and structured opportunities to meet producers. Most major events are reserved for trade visitors — buyers, importers, sommeliers, journalists, restaurateurs — but include public-facing days or evenings during the run of the event. The event is organised by Comissão Vitivinícola Regional de Lisboa, which sets the tone and direction of the programme each year.

The Lisbon wine region (formerly Estremadura) sits along the Atlantic coast north and west of the capital, encompassing nine DOC sub-regions including Bucelas, Carcavelos, Colares (one of Portugal's most distinctive areas, with Ramisco vines planted in deep coastal sands that escaped phylloxera), Alenquer, Arruda, Encostas de Aire, Lourinhã, Óbidos and Torres Vedras. Production ranges from light, saline whites (Bucelas Arinto) through robust reds (Alenquer, Torres Vedras Castelão and Touriga Nacional) to a fortified style (Lourinhã brandy, Carcavelos sweet wine). The region is one of Portugal's most varied stylistically.

The Lisbon wine region surrounds the capital and is reached most easily by car or train from Lisbon — Bucelas sits 30 minutes north, Colares 45 minutes west on the Atlantic coast (combined naturally with Sintra), and Alenquer and Arruda dos Vinhos around an hour to the north. Lisbon itself remains the natural urban base. The capital's cuisine pairs the wines with the city's iconic dishes: bacalhau à brás, caldo verde, ameijoas à bulhão pato (clams in garlic and coriander), pasteis de nata (the Belém custard tarts), bifana pork sandwiches and the petisco-style small plates of the historic neighbourhoods.
