Azienda Agricola Purovino is a small but beautiful winery perfectly located in the amazing Tuscany in the beautiful Maremma region of Italy. The farm covers a total area of 11 hectares, of which 3.5 hectares are vineyards. The Maremma region is well known for the excellent wines that are produced there thanks to the influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The wine makers in the region are also passionate about blending tradition and innovation to produce the most perfect Tuscan wines
Handpicked grapes
The soil of Azienda Agricola Purovino winery has a mechanical tillage and is worked by the farm workers using no herbicides, synthetic chemistry or meticulous pruning. In the field, copper and sulphur are used for the defence of the vine, along with organic fertiliser and green manure. The grapes are harvested only by hand and only the best grapes selected to represent the strength and value of Azienda Agricola Purovino wines. In the wine cellar the patented Purovino method is used, where wines are produced without any added sulphites.

The red wines of Azienda Agricola Purovino winery include the Dantes Petit Verdot Toscana IGT, the Monte Christi Sangiovese Toscana IGT and the Mallius Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT. The white wines include the Igilium Vermentino Toscana IGT and the Iannutri Fiano Toscana IGT. The Azienda Agricola Purovino invites all wine lovers to participate in their ‘Adopt a Row’ project. By adopting a row, one can actively participate in the harvest and the wine production process. The row that you have adopted will be named after you and you will have a direct influence on the wine produced from the grapes produced by your row.
One main strength of Purovino Winery is the making of wines with no sulphites added. It is the first sulphites free winery in Tuscany.
