Production and Heritage
The winery's roots trace back to the 1970s with the creation of Béres Drops, a health supplement developed by Dr. József Béres. Inspired by the rich winemaking tradition of the Tokaj region, Dr. Béres and his wife, Klára, founded the winery in 2002. Today, Béres Vineyards spans 45 hectares, where modern winemaking techniques blend seamlessly with traditional practices to produce exceptional Tokaj wines.
Exceptional Terroir and Varietals
Focusing on classic grape varieties such as Furmint and Hárslevelű, Béres Winery produces around 150,000 bottles annually. The estate also cultivates Sárgamuskotály, Zéta, and Kövérszőlő, resulting in a range of delightful white, sparkling, and dessert wines. The vineyards are situated in the prime terroirs of Lőcse, Diókút, and Omlás, providing the ideal climate and soil conditions for vine growth.

It wasn't easy to get here, but I really liked the wine.
While other tokaj wines have acidity, this wine can be said to be a true tokaj wine.
They hardly sell it in Budapest.

It wasn't easy to get here, but I really liked the wine. While other tokaj wines have acidity, this wine can be said to be a true tokaj wine. They hardly sell it in Budapest.
