Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau Winery, Two Brothers Making Passionate Wines

Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau is a family-run winery. Two brothers Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau took over this family estate in 2001. The estate is located in the heart of their vineyards in Bourgueil with 20 hectares of vines planted in Bourgueil, 5 hectares in Chinon, and 3 hectares in St Nicolas de Bourgueil. The two brothers manage the vineyard and control the vinification process in the cellar. They bring passion and a unique expression to their winemaking practices.

The Winery with High Standards and Sustainable Production

The wine production at Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau Winery follows the highest quality standards and shows respect for the environment. The duo follows organic farming to preserve the true nature of their terroir. They use a single varietal, Cabernet Franc, to produce red wines from the appellations Bourgueil, Chinon and St Nicolas-de-Bourgueil.

Soil Features at Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau

Each of their cuvées reflects the characteristics of the terroir. For instance, Roc ‘Collection comes from clay-limestone slopes, Featherweight and Rosé Shadocks from gravel-sand terraces and Funambule from stony islands. The winery produces high-quality and great-tasting red, white, and rosé wines. They produce wines for private customers, many famous wine stores, wholesalers, and large-scale distributors. You can visit Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau to explore their cellars and understand their winemaking process. Bertrand, Vincent, or someone from the team will lead you on a guided tour of their vineyards and cellars. Be sure to book your trip in advance.
