Founded in 1870, Cantina Colognola Tenuta Musone is a family-owned winery nestled in the picturesque hills of Castiglione Tinella. In 1929, the winery relocated to the heart of the village, where generations of the Dogliotti family have continued the legacy of winemaking. By blending traditional methods with modern techniques, they produce exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of the Marche region. An old section of the winery has been preserved as a museum, showcasing historical winemaking equipment. Today, Erik, Ivan, and Matteo Dogliotti are dedicated to crafting and sharing their wines with enthusiasts around the globe.

Situated at nearly 360 meters above sea level, the estate overlooks the stunning Monte Conero valley. The region's climate and clay-limestone soil create ideal conditions for vine cultivation. The winemakers carefully select the finest grapes, which are then transported to the cellar for processing. White wines undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while maturation occurs in oak barrels, imparting delightful flavors and aromas to the final product.
The winery primarily cultivates Verdicchio, producing six distinct and exquisite wines. Verdicchio is renowned for its versatility, yielding young white wines, sparkling varieties, and those with remarkable aging potential. This grape has gained international acclaim, earning numerous awards and recognition for its quality.

This year we chose the hills of Verdicchio... the Colognola winery was a beautiful discovery... from the welcome... from the visit... and from the super tasting where the passion for the winery's projects was clear work done...which is not always the one planned in the cellar, there are a thousand variables...in any case all the products are TOP! Surely there will be a chance to see each other again! Thank you!

Beautiful winery in the heart of the Classic Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi area. The tasting tour is highly recommended both for the excellent products (among all Ghiffa, but their sparkling wines are also very good), and for the kindness and competence of Francesco (of the Staff). Starting from the road which is truly picturesque you arrive at this truly exceptional estate. I was lucky enough to have known this place thanks to the various visits organized by the Italian sommelier association, wines to try, finally we had dinner and the dishes were no different, a classy place recommended to everyone especially to those who are wine lovers .

Enchanting location in the Verdicchio Jesi area on the Monte San Vicino Cingoli side. Organized quality cellar. Visited for a tasting combined with a truly valuable Macerata opera festival. Compliments to the property
