The Winery Originated in the Sixties
Since 1960, Casa Piazza has stayed strong. First started off by great grandfather Angelo Piazza, who realized that the land would be perfect for growing vines; the winery has been carried forward by family generations successfully. At Casa Piazza, everything comes together in the form of skills, traditions, innovation, natural elements, sustainability, passionate winemaking to create exquisite wines and a winery that has a passionate story to share.
Casa Piazza Is Moving Towards a Better Future
The goal has always been to make the finest wines while with sustainable management and working together with nature. This philosophy has kept Casa Piazza one step ahead. They are constantly toying with innovation but in a way that is environmentally pleasing and safe with nature. They work with a system that reduces CO2 in the air, thereby creating an increasingly cleaner ecosystem. The vineyards are kept as natural as possible with minimal external meddling. Most of the vineyards of Casa Piazza have been classified as a natural reserve for the protection of native fauna.
Structured Land for Rich Flavors
Casa Piazza has settled for the province of Venice which has just about all the right conditions for vine growing and viticulture. The climate here is temperate. The Alps and the sea give the vineyards a great windy circle. The land here consists of a loam, just tending to a clayey structure. These lands give the vines all the rich nutrients for the perfect grapes to bloom. These terroirs give birth to Glera, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Tai, Verduzzo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbech, Refosco
