Specifically residing in Maians, the Grau i Grau Winery is located in Pla de Bage, in the province of Castellfollit del Boix, near the old castle of Maians Vell. The medieval fortress on which the estate is positioned dates back to 924. Grau i Grau is a small winery surrounded by charming landscapes and vineyards and belongs to the MG Wine Group Family of Spain.
Today, the fifth generation of Grau Family manages the Grau i Grau Winery.
Established in 1885, Production of High-Quality Wines in the Catalonia Region
Grau i Grau was established in 1885, and since then, the company has been producing the highest quality wines in the Catalonia region. The area on which the winery is situated is a certified winemaking area of the 19th century, near the Natural Park of Sant Llorenc del Munt, a historical landmark of Catalonia. The main winemaking facility of Grau I Grau Winery was built in 1966 by Jaume Grau i Grau, and in the same year, the first bottles of wines were delivered to the market. With great passion and commitment, the Grau Family continued the winemaking business, and the estate became a part of DO from Bages in 1998 under his ownership. Today, the fifth generation of Grau Family is handling the management of Grau i Grau.

With complete respect for Mother Nature, the staff at Grau i Grau carries out the work in the vineyards to cultivate a wide range of grapes, including Picapoll, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Grau i Grau also grows top-quality Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. Using the best bunches, the estate produces rich-quality red and white wines, along with delicious rosé and sparkling wines. The wine cellar has also been equipped with modern technology and is always open for guests to pay a visit.
