The Celler Pinol winery and estate is a family winery located in Batea in the DO Terra Alta in one of the most beautiful wine regions of Spain. Batea is a medieval village with a beautifully preserved old town that has maintained its authenticity over time. Batea is located in Terra Alta which is a region in the southernmost part of Catalonia and is made up of a number of small towns with breath taking landscapes and rugged mountains.

There is evidence in this in the fact that the Celler Pinol wines have received a score of between 90 and 95 points by Robert Parker and have been selected in the best of the world’s wine guides. The wine makers at Celler Pinol work mainly with native grape varietals such as Carinena, Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Blanca and Morenillo , creating the perfect combinations using a blend of technology and tradition.

These local varietals are used by the wine makers to make a range of award winning and high quality red, white, rose and dessert wines.
