Discover Château de l’Hurbe
Château de l’Hurbe is located on the hillsides overlooking the Dordogne River. Marc Bousseau, took over the estate in 1982, and a few years later he restructured the entire vineyard area. Today, the winery uses 100% of its grape production. The robust history of Château de l’Hurbe dates back to the 18th century.
The Vineyard of Château de l’Hurbe
Red grape production covers an area of 27 hectares, which includes 10 hectares in Côtes de Bourg and 13.5 ha in Bordeaux. The grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Malbec. Vineyards for white grapes cover an area of 3.5 hectares, they grow Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes to produce dry white wine and Crémant, as well as a sparkling grape juice.
