Conradie Penhill Artisanal Winery: in the 5th generation of winemakers
In the scenic Cape Winelands of South Africa, between Worcester and Robertson, Conradie Penhill Artisanal winery lies nestled in the Nuy Valley. The nearby Langeberg mountain range rises over the temperate river valley. Conradie Penhill Artisanal Wines is a boutique vineyard opened in 2015 when C.P. Conradie, the fifth generation, award winning winemaker of Conradie Family Vineyards Private Cellar partnered with Gareth and Kate Penny, the owners of the nearby restored Penhill Manor.

The vineyard is located in the Breedekloof wine district, a unique area situated between the Klein Karoo and Atlantic Ocean, with a variety of soil from ancient riverbeds and a relatively high annual rainfall, particularly suited for wine production. The area falls under the WO Western Cape appellation, which has the oldest history of wine production in South Africa. The Conradie Penhill Artisanal winery produce varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Red Muscadel. They currently have two ranges of wines, the Conradie Family Vineyards range and the Penhill range, most of which have won gold or double gold in top wine award competitions both in South Africa and abroad.
