The Ideal Terroir of Domaine la Croix Belle
The vineyards at Domaine la Croix Belle, currently in conversion to organic farming, cover an area of 70 hectares and are made up of sixteen different grape varieties. Domaine la Croix Belle produces wines with impeccable character and genuine originality, mostly coming from the great terroir. Grape-growing occupies a special place here and the vines grow in the most favorable conditions. The roots plunge into a perfect mixture of clay, limestone, gravelly soil, silt and pebbles and the bunches of grapes ripen in the bright Languedoc sun. The results are surprising, harmonious, balanced and delicious. The vineyards at Domaine la Croix Belle have great advantage of an exceptional microclimate benefiting from high sun levels tempered with sea breezes and the fresh winds of Cévennes.
