Spanning 800 hectares, the estate dedicates 14 hectares to vineyards recognized under the Chianti DOCG and certified organic regions. With roots tracing back to the 1800s, Fattoria La Striscia has been cherished by the Occhini Family for generations. Their commitment to the land is evident in the elegant wines produced here. In 2001, the estate underwent significant renovations, including the replanting of old vineyards and the introduction of modern winemaking equipment. Collaborating with renowned sommelier Luca Martini, the winery crafts high-quality organic red wines under the Chianti DOCG and IGT Sangiovese di Toscana classifications. The vineyard cultivates a variety of grapes, including Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot, and Cabernet. After manual harvesting, the grapes are carefully fermented and aged in a historic underground cellar, where they mature in wooden barrels surrounded by 15th-century architecture.
Fattoria La Striscia offers two charming country houses for guests, each thoughtfully furnished with modern amenities. Visitors can choose from three spacious apartments featuring single and double bedrooms, private bathrooms, open kitchens, and cozy fireplaces, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the heart of Tuscany.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at this wonderful hotel in Tuscany and it was simply unforgettable! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. The staff was responsive to all of our requests and always treated us with incredible kindness. I would also like to highlight the great job of the cleaning staff. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Our things and clothes were folded so sweetly and neatly, suitcases were stowed away and every little detail was taken care of. Little gestures that made our stay even more pleasant and beautiful. The atmosphere in the hotel is simply enchanting. You feel like you are in a small, magical place, far away from everyday life. We definitely plan to come back and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable stay in Tuscany.
