Fattoria Le Sorgenti, Dream Turned Into Reality

After returning to Parma in 1926, Albino had a vision of restarting his agriculture business without sharecropping. Finally, from 1959 onwards, the dreams became a reality, and he became the sole owner of Villa Fattoria and adjoining agricultural land. Accompanied by his wife, Dirce, he planted olive groves and grapes and started producing wines for the local people. He attended his grandson’s marriage in 1974, where he brought the couple a gift of wine. Newlywed, Gabriele and Elisabetta, planned their honeymoon in Villa Fattoria, and surprisingly they never looked back. Albino gave ownership to his grandson, who today follows in his grandfather’s footsteps and produces one of the best Chianti DOCG wines.
