Federico Mencaroni, Influenced by the Mediterranean and Continental

Federico Mencaroni is located in Le Marche, in Corinaldo, on the eastern edge of Italy. Due to the presence of the Adriatic Sea, Apennines Mountains, and various rivers, this are providing weather variations from the Mediterranean to the Continental. The lush vineyards beautifully sit on the gentle hills of Apennines, give the winery a breathtaking view of the countryside. They cover an area of about 10 hectares.

A Family-Run Business for Four Generations

Federico Mencaroni owns the winery. Today, the fourth generation is handling the estate with great dedication and passion for making luscious wines. In 2009, Federico Mencaroni took over the winery from his uncle Nevio. After taking a degree from the University of Milan, Federico started working in different wineries in north and south Italy for ten years. In 2011, the owner established a new cellar and renovated some of the parts of an old cellar with modern technology. Sonia, his wife, manages all the sales department and reception area.

Benefit from a Wide Range of Wines at Federico Mencaroni

The Federico Mencaroni Company grows various types of autochthonous vines. The clay and limestone soil are best for growing varieties like Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Verdicchio, and Montepulciano. The owner also cultivates unique Malvasia and Biancame. Further, the winery produces award-winning sparkling wines, along with tasty red, white and rose wines. At present, the winery delivers approximately 30,000 bottles of wine per year. Federico Mencaroni harvests their grapes by hand to maintain the soft, gentle, organoleptic characteristics of the vines.
