Hotel Tela features a charming wine cellar on its ground floor, where Mareli Winery produces exquisite wines. Mareli is a family-owned winery nestled in the heart of Kakheti, specifically in Telavi. Our family is passionate about both Kakheti and its rich winemaking traditions, focusing exclusively on qvevri wine. We cultivate our own vineyards in the village of Napareuli, where we harvest three primary grape varieties: Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Kakhuri Mtsvane. We are also committed to sustainable practices, with plans to introduce special Bio Wine in the near future.

Established in 2017, Mareli Winery is dedicated to preserving the time-honored winemaking techniques of Kakheti. Our 10-hectare vineyard allows us to produce around 10,000 bottles of wine each year, showcasing the unique flavors of our region. Had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel in Telavi. The location is perfect, super central and walking distance to everything you need as well as some cool tourist activities like the fort and museum nearby. Very nice staff and cool winery. The service was fantastic and the terrace has beautiful views of the mountains. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel in Telavi. The location is perfect, super central and walking distance to everything you need as well as some cool tourist activities like the fort and museum nearby. Very nice staff and cool winery. The service was fantastic and the terrace has beautiful views of the mountains. I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my friend had a road accident, and the friendly staff helped us soo much. They fixed everything for us. So the service is really really good. The roof top terrace is also really nice with a view, and they have good food and wine 🍷👍
