A Historic Winery in Tuscany's Chianti Region
A Winery in the Birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci
L'Arco Estate is nestled in Vinci, a charming medieval village known as the birthplace of the legendary artist and inventor, Leonardo da Vinci. Located just 20 km from Florence in the renowned Chianti wine region, this picturesque estate spans approximately 250 acres. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking Tuscan sunsets amidst lush olive groves and vineyards while sipping on exquisite Chianti wine. The winery's story began in 1978 when founder Primo Fanciullacci carefully selected prime plots of land in Vinci to cultivate the finest grape varieties, taking full advantage of the area's exceptional microclimate.
Crafting Quality Wines with Care
At L'Arco, every grape is handpicked and processed with meticulous attention to detail. The estate grows a variety of grapes, including Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Trebbiano, Vermentino, and Malvasia. Visitors can taste and purchase a selection of eight distinct wines, including the renowned dessert wine, Vinsanto, and refreshing Prosecco.
Where Olive Trees and Vines Flourish
The estate also features 50 acres of olive groves, home to 6,000 trees that produce high-quality extra virgin olive oil made from Montalbano IGP olives. Surrounded by the stunning Tuscan landscape, L'Arco offers accommodations in a beautiful villa that accommodates up to 12 guests, complete with a private pool, as well as nine charming apartments on the estate. Villa L'Arco is the perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and a connection to nature.
