Established in the 19th century, Lapa dos Reis Winery has a long-standing tradition in winemaking. The winery's oldest vineyards reflect the cultural evolution influenced by early French invasions. Since the Middle Ages, wines from Bairrada have been recognized for their quality. The smooth tannins in Lapa dos Reis wines are developed through a six-month aging process in French oak barrels. The classic Remuage method is employed, where bottles are manually opened, preserving the wine's unique characteristics.
