A family-run winery producing excellent wines in Montepulciano. The welcome is warm, and the explanations of the production methods are very interesting and detailed. The passion evident in everyone at the winery is immense, and the results are equally impressive. We toured the winery and tasted the Montepulciano red, the Nobile, the 2019 Riserva, and the Borbotta Viognier; all in excellent form. Worth a visit.

I discovered Le Berne through Le Pievi. We were welcomed by the incredibly friendly owners. Besides the tour of the winery, the vineyards, and the tasting, what we took away most from this experience were the conversations, the exchange of opinions, the curiosity, and the kindness we received when purchasing. We really enjoyed the four wines we tasted; I found their Pieve to be structured but pleasant, with very fine tannins. I highly recommend the tour and their wines.

The most amazing experience! I booked this tour last minute for my family of four and I can easily say it was the best part of our trip. Federico spent so much time explaining everything to us and his passion for the family business really showed. Their vineyards are so beautiful and the the process of making their amazing wines is so fascinating. The hard work and attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the tour. I would recommend anyone in the area to go enjoy this experience and taste some of the best red wines you will ever have!

We visited La Berne Winery near Montepulciano with a whole bus group, and it was an unforgettable experience. Communication before our arrival was excellent, and the family and staff gave us the warmest welcome. They dedicated plenty of time to us, sharing their knowledge and true passion for wine and the land. We learned a lot, tasted delicious wines and olive oil, and felt genuinely cared for throughout the visit. A perfect stop for groups and highly recommended!

We arrived at this winery thanks to a farmhouse where we had dinner. We drank their white wine, "Il Borbotta," which was fantastic. Light and fruity. We were so impressed that we decided to visit their winery ourselves. So we arrived and were immediately greeted warmly by the owner, who took us on a tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a tasting with two other young people. In addition to the fantastic experience and the fantastic wines we tasted (2023/2024 Rosso di Montepulciano, 2022 Il Nobile di Montepulciano, and 2021 Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva), the winery is truly well-kept and we highly recommend wine lovers to stop by!
