Le Fraghe, Vini Biologici fatti con Amore e Dedizione

Matilde Poggi ha dato vita alle Fraghe nel 1984, una cantina storica nel cuore del Bardolino sulle colline moreniche tra la sponda del Lago di Garda,il Monte Baldo e la Valdadige.I vigneti sono coltivati secondo il metodo biologico integrato e dal 2012 tutti i vini sono certificati biologici in etichetta. I vitigni sono perlopiu' autoctoni:Corvina,Rondinella e Garganega. In cantina i vini vengono vinificati in vasche di acciaio, cemento e anfora in terracotta. I vini sono sinonimo di freschezza, mineralita',sapidita' e note floreali al naso. L'Agriturismo Le Fraghe adiacente la cantina dispone di due appartamenti Corvina e Rondinella,bilocali,completamente attrezzati ma autogestiti con la vista sui vigneti.

The first word that comes to mind is style. In each Matilde Poggi wine you can recognize an idea based on elegance rather than power. In an area not as well known as that of Bardolino, you may like it or not, but there is at least a path you can follow to revalue an area often confused with Valpolicella. Steel, cement and amphorae are the materials used to refine the wines, little intervention in the cellar, organic certification. Compliments.

We had an outstanding wine tasting at Le Fraghe. Their rose and bardolino were outstanding. Rosanna did a great job hosting us and explaining each of the wines we tasted.
