A Rich Winemaking Heritage

Bodegas Lunares, owned by the Morales family, is situated on a picturesque 4-hectare estate known as "Finca Lunares" in the stunning Serranía de Ronda. Since its establishment in 2003, this winery has been dedicated to crafting wines that showcase a unique character, remarkable personality, and exceptional quality, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts.

The Perfect Vineyard Environment

The vineyards at Lunares thrive in sandy loam soil, enriched with stones that encourage deep root growth. Over their 16-year lifespan, the vines have tapped into deep subterranean water currents, allowing them to flourish. The region receives about 490 mm of rainfall annually, complemented by a predominantly dry summer climate. With long, hot days and cool nights, the temperature can vary by nearly 20 degrees, enhancing the grapes' acidity and contributing to the exceptional taste of the wines produced here.

Visit Bodegas Lunares

For wine lovers and travelers alike, Bodegas Lunares offers a unique opportunity to taste the essence of Andalusia. The winery's commitment to quality and tradition ensures that every bottle reflects the rich heritage of the region. Very good wine tasting. The story is fascinating. The magic that María gives by explaining each thing makes it unique. We came at a perfect time, since the vineyards are spectacular. Every wine we have tried from this winery has a unique flavor. And Ronda wines have a different touch. What surprised us most was the Rosé, refreshing and full-bodied, and with a most elegant flavor and color. And the red wine from AltoCielo, spectacular too. We loved it!!!

Really good small-scale wine tour. Lunares wine is one of the best in Ronda and my personal favourite,. The price is excellent, the food lovely and goes well with the wine, the hotel is decent if you're staying over and most of all, the hostess is fantastic! Recommended.
