Negro Giuseppe Winery is located in the municipality of Neive, in the Barbaresco area, one of the most important wine-producing zones of the Langhe.

The winery is managed by the owner and oenologist Giorgio Negro, together with his son Marco. Production focuses exclusively on typical DOC and DOCG wines, made from single grape varieties and with careful attention to quality.

The winery overlooks the vineyards of production, which can be observed during the visit from the “Monsú” terrace. Guests have the opportunity to discover the production philosophy of the estate and to taste the wines in a setting closely connected to the surrounding landscape.

Marco was easy to book with, greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of their cellar, and guided us through their wine making process explaining how they age each of their products. The tasting itself looked out over the valley allowing Marco to point out where each grape came from. Wines are all superb, the only problem we had was deciding which wine to buy as we have limited suitcase space!!

Forget the panoramic view, however phenomenal it may be. Forget the hospitality and experience of the Negro family, however extraordinary they may be. Here, wine reigns supreme, and the offerings are the fruit of an unwavering pursuit of quality. The result is plain for all to see (or rather, for the palate). A 5-star winery

Lovely place with a beautiful view of the vineyards. For French speakers, Marco is a wonderful host who speaks excellent French. Perfect for understanding the history of this family estate. A lovely tasting with excellent wines. We will be back.
