Ricci Curbastro Azienda Agricola, a Winery in the 19th Generation
An agricultural tradition since the thirteen century, from Pietro 1380 along with eighteen generations, the Ricci Curbastro Family runs farm estates in Rontana di Brisighella (Ravenna), and the homonymous farm estate of Capriolo in Franciacorta (Brescia). The winery covers a total land of 32 hectares, out of which 26 are planted with vineyards dedicated to the production of Franciacorta DOCG, according to the strict guidelines of modern viticulture and of the Consorzio Vini Franciacorta, as well as Curtefranca DOC and Sebino IGT.

Franciacorta represents the first among Italian sparkling wines in-bottle fermentation to have obtained in 1995 the D.O.C.G. and ever since its rigid production code has been continuously updated. Today, at Ricci Curbastro Azienda Agricola winery, passion and dedication towards the family business of winemaking continues and can be discovered from the taste of their exquisite wines where innovation and tradition merge with great balance.
Visit the Insightful Wine Museum at the Winery
As a witness of the agricultural work of the past, the Ricci Curbastro Agriculture and Wine Museum was inaugurated in 1986 and constantly expanded over the years. It is a unique reality in Franciacorta that preserver thousands of objects and rustic artifacts and it’s open for guests to discover the rich history of the estate. A recently renovated farmhouse which comprises eight apartments completes the offer. The farmhouse is situated among a vineyard offering a perfect view of the countryside to the guests. Ricci Curbastro Azienda Agricola is perfectly located for taking trips to Lake Iseo, 5 km, playing golf, Golf Franciacota at 6 km, and for other sports activities, such as horseback riding and mountain biking.
