We found this place by accident and it turned out to be such a great surprise. We tried four different wines, each introduced with lots of detail. The guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable, which made the whole tasting fun and interesting. On top of that, the setting is gorgeous, beautiful views over the vineyards and the surrounding landscape. Thank you!!

How to describe it... if Google would let me, I'd give it six stars or more. Anyone who wants to taste wine and learn everything about Montepulciano and Tuscan wines is a must-visit at Tenuta Golo. Elia and Neall are the perfectly mismatched couple to welcome you, tell you wonderful stories, and teach you all about their wine and vineyard, which is over 85 years old. Don't miss it!

We visited the Tenuto Golo vineyard for the wine tasting and it was a memorable experience! Elia was our host, gave us the warmest welcome and walked us through every part of the wine production process and the tasting. He explained everything in simple terms and made us feel like we are at home, offered a glass of wine by a friend! Definitely visit it if you are in Montepulciano 🍷🇮🇹

Went for a tour and wine tasting. Such an amazing tour. Our host, Elia (also the crafter of these amazing wines) was both knowledgeable and charming. He walked us through history of the vineyard and the aging process. Then related that process to each wine we tasted. It really made the experience so special! Not to mention these were the best wines I've had in my life (not exaggerating)! Signed up for the wine club and we're soo excited for our first deliver! Would go every day if we could!

I had originally booked just a tasting, but I called ahead and switched to a tour — and I’m so glad I did! Our host Elia was absolutely amazing: welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about every detail of the winemaking process. The tour was both fascinating and fun, and it gave us such a deeper appreciation for the winery. The wines themselves were beyond outstanding — honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. We loved them so much that we joined their wine club right on the spot and can’t wait to share our first shipment with friends and family back home. This was our first introduction to Tuscan wines, and Tenuta Golo couldn’t have made it more memorable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience — highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!
