Mesmerisingly gorgeous view of the Tuscan valley - possibly one of the best I’ve ever seen! Excellent wine and aperitivo on offer, with very friendly staff. Just watch out for the bees! 🤣

We were here in 2019, looked at this beautiful location and tasted the wines. What has been created here in recent years is incredibly impressive, congratulations! We will continue to watch the further development with excitement and interest, and perhaps we will visit the site again sometime.

The view is absolutely spectacular! The food was very good too, reason for the 4* is a completly cooked through duck for the secondi.. In a restaurant like this I would expect them to have it medium but it was well done. Maybe that’s how people cook duck here but if I would have know I would have ordered something else. The pici with ragu bianco were amazing though. My girlfriend would have apprechiated a vegetarian menu option since there was already a land and sea option. The vine we liked so much that we came back the next day to buy a few bottles for ourselves. All in all very good, just maybe don’t cook the duck for so long🦆

There are two buildings where you can stay overnight. We were in the lower one, where the wine is made. The woman at the reception was very friendly and showed us everything in detail. There is a "piscina" with a fantastic view of the Maremma. Breakfast: What we didn't like was the quality of the coffee from a machine that you had to serve yourself. We will go there again.

We love this place and never thought that we could have any negative comment. However, new service at the restaurant is very bad and only destroy the image of Valdonica. The new lady from Argentina was so disrespectful and rude to us and other tables at the dinner. We were really shocked and even didn’t want to stay for a coffee or desert despite the fact that we were guests of the hotels. The only person who did our wedding anniversary pleasant after rude lady was a young girl who was cleaning the tables, thank you! We were planing to eat every day at the restaurant during our stay but with this treatment of the guests - no, thanks, we went to the city for dinner the other days. That is why only 4 stars.
