Celebrating 22 Years of Winemaking in Vayots Dzor
Vayk Winery in the Heart of Armenia
Established in 2000, Vayk Winery is dedicated to producing exceptional wines from the picturesque Vayots Dzor region in southern Armenia. Nestled in the Arpa River valley, one of the world's oldest winemaking areas, Vayk Winery began with 12 hectares of vineyards planted exclusively with the local Areni Noir grape. Today, our vineyard has expanded to nearly 33 hectares (81 acres), featuring a blend of indigenous and international grape varieties.
The unique northwest-facing slopes, arid climate, and mineral-rich soil, combined with over 300 sunny days each year, create an ideal environment for cultivating Areni Noir grapes, which have thrived in this region for over 5,000 years. Over the past two decades, we have refined our winemaking techniques, merging traditional methods with modern practices to produce premium wines that showcase the rich flavors of our valley.
At Vayk Winery, we invite wine enthusiasts and travelers alike to experience the essence of Armenian winemaking. Our commitment to quality and authenticity is reflected in every bottle, making our wines a true representation of the Vayots Dzor region.
