Vigna di Pettineo is situated in Cerasuolo di Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa. The winery extends up to an area of 25 hectares in total, out of which vineyards cover 20 hectares. The Vineyards, surrounded by beautiful olive tree groves and orchards, leave a breath-taking impact on visitors. The flowering bushes that encircle per hectare of the vineyards provide a picturesque view of the countryside.
A Winery with a Long Tradition
Before the 60s, Vigna di Pettineo was a small rural hamlet where many people have done the cultivation for centuries. Massimo Maggio and Barbara started the family tradition of winemaking and offered wines with a powerful vocation of the terroir in their winery.

They cultivate unique Nero d’Avola, along with Grillo and Frappato using old vine training systems. They have a certification in providing red and white organic wines, in combination with sparkling, dessert, and fortified wines.
