Egert winery is a quality-oriented family winery whose winemaking tradition dates back to the 18th century. It is situated in the middle of the Rheingau. The owner of the winery Manfred Egert, took over the management of the estate from his father in the year 1997. The vineyards extend over the villages of Mittelheim, Oestrich, and Hattenheim.
They are among the top locations in the Rheingau where the only Riesling is grown.

Main Goal of the Winery

The main goal of the winery is to produce Rheingau Riesling premium wines,
which requires stringent quality control both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Hence they harvest small quantities of grapes with a high extract content selectively by hand. These are then expanded and cultivated with the latest knowledge of cellar management and a love of wine to produce elegant, fruity Rieslings.

The seasonal leaded glass windows framed in the stone vault are a feast for the eyes of our vinotheque. Delicacies are served to the guests at the champagne reception, followed by cold and warm buffets that are designed according to your wishes.
